Proverbs 22:6
I believe that one of the worst things we can do as parents is making learning about Jesus and reading the Bible dull. Let's be real, in this day & age with so many things that are trying to get our kids attention it is up to us to get creative and find useful tools that they find fun. You want to find a healthy balance between the discipline needed to open up the Word and bringing them up with it in a way that they reach for it themselves as they grow older, not turn away from it because you were too much like a drill sergeant. The more time they spend with Jesus and actually enjoying it when they are young, the more likely they are to not dread the idea of continuing that relationship as they learn and grow.
